Van der Linden & Veldhuis is specialised in thermal, acoustic and fire-resistant insulation for industrial applications. We offer advice, design, construction and assembly both for new construction as well as for the maintenance of existing insulation.  Important secondary works are scaffolding, tracing and the delivery of heat-resistant products. In addition to our head office in Vlaardingen, we also have branches in Sas van Gent and Wormerveer. We protect products, machinery and of course personnel and their environment in all industrial sectors.

A tradition of innovation

Since its establishment in 1904, Van der Linden & Veldhuis has exclusively focused on industrial insulation and maintains two main principles: innovation and reliability. There is a permanent focus on making our products more effective, sustainable and functional and in this manner to increase the technological and business economical advantages. For us, dependability is synonymous with reliability. We want to be seen as the customer’s partner. You make an investment in sustainable insulation, we invest in a sustainable relationship.

Large but still flexible

Van der Linden & Veldhuis has been a part of the international VINCI group since 2008. Within VINCI, the insulation activities are accommodated under VINCI Energies Deutschland (VED), under the G+H Group brand. As part of the G+H Group, Van der Linden & Veldhuis is large enough for large-scale overall projects (turnarounds) and maintenance contracts. With more than 2,000 members of staff in the BeNeLux and Germany and an annual turnover in the value range of hundreds of millions of Euros, we absolutely belong to the top 3 in Europe in the field of insulation. From our branches in Vlaardingen, Wormerveer and Sas van Gent we are able to assist our customers in a quick, local and flexible manner.

Strict requirements – daily practice

Industrial insulation is a broad field of specialty. It keeps the energy processes manageable. The vital importance and the large business economical interests that come into play require an equally large expertise on behalf of the insulation company. Van der Linden & Veldhuis consciously selects the position of the specialist in the broadest sense. The customer must be able to assign the insulation work to us with the greatest confidence.

Our customers can be found in all branches of industry. You can find us in the sectors of (petro)chemicals, electricity, oil and gas production, supply, transport, (tank) storage, shipbuilding, steel and aluminium or pharmaceuticals. But also in non-residential construction. Due to this broad range of knowledge, we operate in conformity with the specific guidelines and safety and quality requirements applicable for each specific industry sector, both in regard to the product as well as the manner of working.

In addition to the industrial companies themselves or the suppliers of technical systems, the engineering offices and technical consulting offices are important customers.

Van der Linden & Veldhuis exclusively utilises high-quality materials and is fully brand-independent. We hardly ever use words such as “standard” or “routine”. However, “tailor-made”, both technically as well as for further accompaniment, are used frequently.
